Once a year, social workers, counsellors, psychologists, single parents, volunteers and other professionals gather at our symposium to exchange information and knowledge on issues concerning single-parent families. It is to bring to awareness how the single parents and their children face challenges, obstacles and stress, and strive towards reaching stability, growth and accepting the new family unit.
An opportunity for all to raise issues, share concerns and explore solutions.
