Parenting Talk: Life after Divorce - Financial Aspects

People who undergo divorce are often anxious about what will happen to them financially after divorce. What used to be sufficient for one family now has to be shared between two households. How does the Court split up assets accumulated during marriage? What are relevant factors the Court will take into account in deciding who gets what and how much? What happens to debts? Who has to maintain the children? Is it a joint responsibility? Can CPF monies be applied for maintenance? What are the new changes to CPF laws? What happens if a husband or parent refuses to pay maintenance ordered by the Court?

The above seminar will aim to provide answers to these and many other questions you may have on how to plan for your financial future in the event of divorce.
